This private reference site is not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, release a person, post bond, or retrieve an official booking record. Contact the office that maintains the record for a current answer.
Rutherford County Records
For a county booking or public-record request, begin with the RCSO Warrants & Records office and identify the person, approximate date, and record sought. The request form directs requests to recordsrequest@rcsotn.org with a valid ID. The response language is seven business days, not a promise that every record or image will be released.

Choose the Right Custodian
Different agencies hold different parts of an arrest matter. Asking the right office avoids treating a news item or a third-party listing as a custody decision.
- Use the county records and custody paths for the Adult Detention Center, a formal booking request, state-prison and federal alternatives, or court follow-up.
- For an arrest made by a city officer, use the relevant municipal police records unit: Murfreesboro, Smyrna, or La Vergne.
- For a criminal case result, contact the Rutherford County Circuit Court Clerk. Circuit Criminal is listed at 615-898-7812; General Sessions Criminal is listed at 615-898-7831.
- For a personal warrant question, use the in-person RCSO check or speak with an attorney or court clerk. The warrant information page explains the official limits and tip route.
- For a person in sentenced Tennessee custody or supervision, use the official TDOC FOIL offender search. It does not replace a county pretrial record.
- For federal sentenced custody, use the BOP Inmate Locator. It does not show mugshot photos and does not establish local custody.
